Jordan Lake Jet Ski Rental

Nothing is more important to us than yours and your family’s safety!

• US Coast Guard Life Jackets are included with every rental.  Neoprene wetsuit shorts are recommended.  You may bring your own US Coast Guard approved ski vest (and/or wetsuit) to use during your rental, should you prefer.
• We have chosen Sea Doos with the most stable boarding platform  — making it easier and safer for individuals, couples, and families to get on and off the Sea Doo.
• Each Sea Doo is wiped down with disinfectant before/after each use.
• Our Sea Doos come with the industry’s first on-the-water brake system to help you stop sooner.  With both hands on the handlebars, riders can engage Forward, Neutral, and Reverse for stable, worry-free maneuvering at low speeds.
• Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation for important Safety & Operator instruction.  Otherwise, the Safety & Operator Instruction will cut into your rental time
• It is your responsibility to let your crew member know if additional operator instruction is needed.  We offer private, 45 minute jetski lessons.
• Should LGW crew determine that a jet ski lesson is needed, the lesson will be completed during the scheduled rental time and you will have the remaining time scheduled for your rental.
• Children ages 5-17 may ride as a passenger on the Sea Doo with their parent ($25/child), as long as the parent is proficient at operating the Sea Doo.  Children under 5 years of age are not permitted to ride or be on the Sea Doo.

NC Boaters license & Jetski Operator Insurance

• Jetski renters ages 18- 27 are required to have a valid NC boaters.  It is recommended that anyone operating a jetski take a boaters safety course and obtain a NC boaters license.  A free online approved boating course is available at http://boatus.org/northcarolina/
• Jetski renters insurance is required for the jetski renter and included  with each Sea Doo reservation.  Jetski renters insurance is optional for passengers, and may be purchased for $50.
• A $500 credit card deposit will be held for each jetski rented, and will be returned to your credit card once the Sea Doo/s have been returned without damage, in good working condition.  In the event of an accident, the $500 deposit/s will be forfeited and put towards the cost of repairs and/or renter’s insurance deductible, if applicable.
• Never leave the Sea Doo unattended during your rental. Renter’s insurance does not cover theft.
